At Subaru of Fort Myers, we’re committed to helping our friends and family far past the point of a sale. We’re dedicated to making our community stronger by showing love and respect to everyone that walks through our doors. Whether it’s supporting local initiatives or providing top-notch service, we believe in going the extra mile. Together, we’re building lasting relationships that drive us all forward.
At Subaru of Fort Myers, caring for our community means caring for the world around us. As part of the Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, we were proud to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation throughout the month to make a lasting environmental impact. Together, we encouraged our customers and community members to join us in supporting a greener future.
To celebrate this partnership, we were thrilled to gift 100 trees to guests who signed up to participate. Each tree represents not only a step toward cleaner air and healthier ecosystems, but also a shared commitment between Subaru of Fort Myers and our community to protect and preserve the environment for generations to come.
We’re grateful to everyone who took part in this meaningful initiative and helped us grow something bigger than ourselves.
Thank You!
Operation Warm at James Stephens Middle School
February 19th, 2026 — At Subaru of Fort Myers, supporting our local community is at the heart of everything we do. Through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, we were proud to participate in Operation Warm on February 19th at James Stephens Middle School, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County.
Our team spent the afternoon working one-on-one with students, helping each child get properly sized and fitted for brand-new shoes. In total, we distributed 132 pairs of tennis shoes and 264 pairs of socks to deserving kids in our community.
The smiles, excitement, and gratitude from the students made this event truly unforgettable. It’s moments like these that remind us why giving back matters—and why we’re committed to continuing to make a positive impact right here in Fort Myers.
GoldenFest with Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida
At Subaru of Fort Myers, we are incredibly proud to support the amazing work of Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida and the more than 1,400 Golden Retrievers they have helped place into loving forever homes. Our passion for pets and our community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re honored that this commitment is felt from the moment visitors walk into our showroom. Being a Golden Best of Show sponsor at GoldenFest was a truly rewarding experience, allowing us to connect with over 2,000 attendees and 800 dogs while contributing to such a meaningful cause. We were thrilled to spend the day alongside fellow dog lovers, share in the excitement, and help create lasting memories. Most importantly, we’re grateful that events like GoldenFest raise essential funds that go directly toward life-saving veterinary care for dogs in need, and we look forward to continuing to make a difference together.
Cape Coral Animal Shelter
September 10, 2025 — For the fifth consecutive year, Subaru of Fort Myers has selected Cape Coral Animal Shelter as the local beneficiary of the national Subaru Loves Pets initiative, reinforcing their shared mission to give shelter animals a second chance at life.
Each October, Subaru retailers across the country team up with the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) to drive meaningful change for pets in need. Together, Subaru and more than 630 retailers nationwide contribute over $3 million annually to local partner shelters. Since the initiative began in 2008, Subaru has proudly donated more than $70 million to national and local organizations, helping over 700,000 animals find safe, healthy, and loving homes.
This year, Cape Coral Animal Shelter will receive $4,000 in grant funding from Subaru directly supporting the medical care that prepares homeless pets for adoption. In addition, Subaru of Fort Myers will host a “Make a Dog’s Day” adoption event on Friday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to Noon. Guests will meet adoptable dogs ready to find their forever homes, enjoy pet-related giveaways, and connect with a community united by compassion.
“We are so grateful for the continued support we receive from Subaru of Fort Myers and Subaru of America,” said Liz McCauley, Executive Director of Cape Coral Animal Shelter. “Through this partnership, we’ve seen firsthand how deeply Subaru and its staff care about the lives of animals. Their generosity directly impacts the pets in our care and helps us match more deserving animals with loving families.”
